Newark-on-Trent is one of the closest towns to Lincoln, where one of our directors is based - around 16 miles to the west - and the natural starting point for any work we do in Nottinghamshire. It's a market town with a history dating back to the Civil War and a current economy centred on logistics (the A1 runs straight through it), light manufacturing, and professional services serving the rural areas of north Nottinghamshire.

Beyond Newark, Nottinghamshire's business landscape changes considerably as you move south and east. Retford and Worksop in the north of the county sit closer to the South Yorkshire border, with economies shaped by light industry and distribution.
