Save Goole Hospital Campaign Website

Challenge
Save Goole Hospital is a community campaign fighting to keep Goole and District Hospital open and fully staffed, after concerns that wards could be closed and services downgraded to outpatients only. The campaign had real momentum on Facebook, but supporters had to piece the story together across social posts, news articles and a separate petition site, with no single place that explained the campaign, carried the latest updates, and pointed people to the petition.
Solution
We designed and built a campaign hub that brings all of it into one place: a clear explanation of what the campaign is fighting for, a live Facebook feed so the site always shows the latest updates, and a link straight to the petition. We built it pro bono and set it up so the Facebook feed keeps the site current on its own, with no ongoing cost to the organisers.
What we delivered
- Designed, built and donated free of charge to the campaign
- One hub combining campaign background, updates and the petition
- Live Facebook feed so supporters see the latest news without leaving the site
- Direct link to the petition on every page
Project outcomes
Supporters now have one place to understand the campaign and sign the petition, instead of piecing it together from scattered posts and third-party links. We took it on pro bono because the campaign is volunteer-run and trying to keep the local hospital open.
